WHAT IS SUMMER BALIKATAN?
SUMMER BALIKATAN is the official term we used to described the official youth training program of our church - CHRISTIAN BIBLE BAPTIST CHURCH. It started when one of the pastor from the North sent his elder son to be trained in the ministry for 1 week. By the grace of God, it put the child on fire for soul winning and other ministries. After a year, the pastor's kid brought his friend with him and together they enjoyed the training in the church.
In summer of 2001, Pastor Gil, the pastor of Christian Bible Baptist Church, organized a training program exclusively for the young people who wants to serve the LORD. Together with his area leaders as the team captain of each group, they hand-in-hand formalized the training to support the Baptist Churches all over the Philippines who sends delegates ... and so the birth of the most prestigious, the most comprehensive and the most effective youth training program in the Philippines ... the SUMMER BALIKATAN.
The Summer Balikatan is now one of the ministry of Christian Bible Baptist Church in Fort Bonifacio. It is an annual event that last for a month for the Senior Delegates ages 13 and up, and 15 days for the Junior Delegates ages 9 to 12. It aims to help the young people to enhance their love and devotion to God through Biblical principles such as:

SURVIVAL PART 2
SURVIVAL PART 2 is the theme for this year. In this year's training, the delegates must learn to survive from any temptations of life. They must learn to battle the every system of the world which is not pleasing to the eyes of God such as: computer games, drug addiction, vices, family problems, peer pressure, campus problems, family problems and the like.
